Richard McDonald, Senior Vice President of Marketing – Fender Brands

McDonald joined Fender in June 1993, rising from an entry-level position to his current executive role encompassing marketing and advertising, product development, artist relations, product education, and promotions and events. In approaching business, his philosophy emphasizes a clear focus on customer engagement and fulfilling the brand promise. McDonald arrived at FMIC in the early ’90s as an accomplished guitarist from a musical family and with music industry experience in retail management. He has amassed considerable performing and recording experience, including 20 years as guitarist/songwriter with acclaimed Tempe, Ariz.-based world beat band Morningstar, extensive North American touring, and session work for a variety of artists and on many commercial jingles. www.fender.com

Timothy Self, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing – Propellerhead Software

Timothy Self joined Propellerhead Software in 2005.  After setting up its U.S. subsidiary, he relocated to its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden in 2006, where today he develops and executes marketing strategies, leads sales and oversees customer care, amongst his various roles. Self has served as Vice President of Developer Relations at Be, Incorporated and led a team of marketing managers, evangelists, and technical support engineers that assembled an impressive portfolio of media applications and peripherals for BeOS. Prior to Be, Self was the Vice President of Product Marketing at Opcode Systems, a leading developer of software for musicians. He managed ComputerWare, a prominent software retailer, and has experience as a concert promoter, audio engineer and acoustic researcher. He received a Bachelors degree in Computer Music from Stanford University.

Chandra Lynn, Owner & Principal Consultant – Glow Marketing

As the owner and principal consultant of Glow, Lynn leads a team that brings cutting-edge music technology to market and helps artists use it from the studio to the stage.
