Glow Marketing’s Chandra Lynn has been invited to speak on an international panel at The Belfast Music Festival on Friday September 17 in Belfast, Ireland. Joining Chandra Lynn on this panel will be Sara Griggs of Sara Griggs Media and Paul Brannigan from Kerrang Magazine. The panel discussion is entitled “Music PR and Marketingin the Digital Age” (http://www.state.ie/2010/09/news/nile-rodgers-to-launch-belfast-music-week/). Music promotion and marketing is now a global phenomenon with the use of digital media becoming the key tool to gain international recognition and exposure. This workshop will look at the impact digital media can make on local musicians and bands and how good PR and marketing can make or break a career in the music industry.
The project has been funded by Belfast City Council and part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland and administered by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
