Universal Audio hired Glow to help produce an interactive tour of AIR Studios in London to launch their new flagship Apollo X audio interface. Instead of a typical industry party or product demo event, UA wanted to celebrate the launch with something truly unique, inspiring and educational.
Guests were taken through the creation of a hit song by Two Door Cinema Club in real time; from demo production to live band tracking, then culminating with a live recording session by the London Metropolitan Orchestra, all in the famous Lyndhurst Hall in Air Studios.
Attendees were able to experience the latest advances in audio technology from Universal Audio, the way it was meant to be heard, and see first-hand how producer Jacknife Lee and artist Two Door Cinema club make hit records in real-time.
Small groups were organized and paired with a UA Specialist to guide them through the event and answer any questions along the way. After the tour, all guests were hosted at a local pub called The Roebuck in a private space, The Fawn Bar, with delicious food, drinks and stimulating conversation.
Glow assisted with all aspects of the event including venue booking, branding, invites/RSVPs, promotional merchandise, orchestra booking and logistics, travel arrangements, on-site hosting, and more.
