Bay Area Panthers IFL Team Branding & Launch

Glow Marketing partnered with Urban Cowboy to create a brand identity for a new Indoor Football League (IFL) team, Bay Area Panthers.

Glow’s founder Chandra Lynn developed a marketing strategy to launch the new team and executed a marketing sprint to create awareness before the opening night of their inaugural season. She conducted a giveaway that featured an Xbox, team merchandise, and free tickets that generated approximately 6,000 entries. She also supported the development of their season ticket holder Founders Club including the promotion of a season ticket holder party and the launch of a team NFT.

Glow continues to provide creative direction for design projects and promotional strategy throughout the season, working with Ticketmaster, SAP Center in San Jose, California, 95.7FM The Game, the Bay Area News Group, San Jose Sports Authority, and many other partners including presenting sponsor Meriwest Credit Union.

The Bay Area Panthers are the latest team to join The Indoor Football League (IFL). Their 2022 inaugural season runs from March 21 and runs through July 16, 2022 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The team is co-owned by Roy Choi and Marshawn Lynch. The Panthers are led by President Scott McKibben and Head Coach Kurt Bryan.

The Indoor Football League is the highest level of professional indoor football in the United States. The IFL is America’s longest continuously-running indoor football league and is the second-longest running professional football league in the U.S., after only the National Football League. There are currently 16 teams in the IFL. The IFL was founded in 2009 and begins its 14th consecutive season of play in 2022. IFL teams play a 16-game schedule with each team having eight home games and eight road games. The IFL includes a number of historic indoor football organizations such as the Arizona Rattlers, the Iowa Barnstormers, the Green Bay Blizzard, the Sioux Falls Storm, and more. Now, the IFL welcomes Bay Area Panthers to its roster.
