Press objectives included placing stories in high-profile magazine positions featuring both Digidesign products and users. Logistics include personal editor contact, story pitching, and providing support such as fact checks, high-res images and interviews. Cover stories and major feature placements included RollingStone, USA Today, New York Times, NPR, Mix, EQ, Sound on Sound, Audio Media, and more.

MEDIA-DRIVEN ONLINE ARTIST CONTESTS
Featured Artists: Peter Gabriel, Sting, Nine Inch Nails, Brooks & Dunn, Linkin Park, Joe Perry/Aerosmith, The Crystal Method, Bad Boy Bill, Rob Zombie and others.
Artist contests generate tangible leads in the form of opt-ins and create an association between Digidesign, the artists and other promotional partners. The contests demonstrate a partnership between the artists and Digidesign to show a mutual commitment for delivering fans high-quality, desirable material and products.
The contests are supported with print ads, Web banners and splash pages, email blasts, links from high-traffic Web sites, and more.
